Harry Potter 2 Custom Map "Diffindo Challenge Night Version" by ‪@old2739‬ (2018) Maplink: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... Help for installation of custom maps:    • How to instal Harry Potter 2 (PC) Custom M...   by @Nixxo This map was found on hp-games.net The linked version is the one shown in the video Review: This is a map that is already surprisingly old, from 2018, when custom maps were still far from being as easy to create and came with fewer possibilities. Nevertheless, it is absolutely worth showing. Admittingly not a very long map, but one with an absolutely unique structure and a fascinating look. It's a reinterpretation of a DiffindoChallenge by the legendary mapper DimitryLemon, who has created more custom maps than anyone else. In this version, he not only massively improved and expanded one of his old maps, but also moved it to nighttime, creating a unique atmosphere in the process. The level is built like a spiral-shaped pyramid, which lets you get a very good sense of your own progress. Because of its age, the gameplay does not feel extremely innovative, and it also has some polishing issues, such as being able to jump onto the outer barrier and partially skip the intended path, or being able to fall into creature pits and often getting trapped there. But I think once you understand that these things simply were not accounted for, you can be careful and enjoy the map. Everything that needs to work works very well. What stands out positively is that, despite the map being very one-way, it invites exploration, and you want to spend time in this beautifully lit garden where everything is overgrown and flourishing. The number of creatures sometimes feels a bit stretched, with too many Bowtruckles, too many Venomous Tentaculas, too many snails at once, and so on. The flow of the map could have been much better with fewer creatures, and especially luring five Venomous Tentaculas in a row into a pit already feels excessive and was annoying. Apart from that, it is a very solid map that is very fun to revisit every now and then. For me, it is an 8.5 out of 10, and definitely one of the best maps of the 2010s.
