For over a century, mathematicians have asked: Are the digits of π truly random? Despite computing trillions of digits, no one has ever proven that π is "normal"—meaning every finite digit sequence appears with the expected frequency.
But what if the decimal system itself is the problem?
My study suggests a profound conclusion: the apparent non‑randomness of π is not a property of π itself—it is an artifact of the decimal coordinate system.
When you measure a curved object with a straight ruler, you always get a distortion. The decimal system is that straight ruler. The prime‑base system, which matches the curvature of the modular surface, is the curved ruler—and it reveals π's digits as perfectly uniform.
