Acid Roads – The Sessions is a double album by Pol Paxx, released on 2026. Conceived as a double vinyl record inspired by the atmosphere and spirit of 1967, the album unfolds as a journey through acid rock, modern blues, psychedelic sounds and cinematic atmospheres. Disc 1 is the first act of the journey. It explores desire, memory and inner fractures, moving between intimate confessions, loss, vulnerability, irony and psychedelic tension. From the sensual opening of I Need Your Mouth and the psychedelic soul of The Sweetest Thing in Town, featuring Ruby Vane, the album moves through different fragments of memory and experience. A Vuci Antica brings an ancestral voice suspended between Sicily and psychedelia, while Under the Balcony turns adolescence and longing into a nocturnal confession. The journey continues through the metaphorical scars of Back from the Delta War, the frozen moment of 3 PM, October 13, the tense dialogue of Let Me In, and the acid irony of Guess the Bank Just Lost My Number. The second half of the disc becomes darker and more introspective, from the loss explored in The Day I Lost You to the sensory tension of White Cream, the hypnotic Not to Noise Not to Fire [Psychedelic Condition] and the emotional dissonances of Out of Phase Out of Line.
