1800 Youths Enrolled for Ladakh Police Orientation Programme in Kargil
In Ladakh, around 1800 youths have enrolled for the Ladakh Police Orientation Programme aimed at preparing aspirants for the upcoming recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables in Ladakh Police.
On the first day of the programme, nearly 600 youths turned out at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium, Biamathang, Kargil to participate in the orientation and training sessions.
The programme was personally supervised by Nitin Yadav, Senior Superintendent of Police Kargil, and Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, Additional Superintendent of Police Kargil.
Speaking to media SSP Kargil Nitin Yadav said that the orientation programme is being organised to provide first-hand experience to aspirants preparing for the upcoming Ladakh Police recruitment for the posts of SI and Constable. He further informed that a similar programme will also be organised separately in Zanskar for the aspirants from that region. He added that the initiative is being conducted under the directions of Mukesh Singh, Director General of Police, Ladakh.
Meanwhile, ASP Kargil Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho stated that the orientation programme will continue for ten days, during which aspirants will receive training and guidance to prepare for the recruitment rally. He noted that despite the DSSRB examinations being conducted simultaneously, more than 600 aspirants participated enthusiastically on the first day.
Several aspirants appreciated the initiative of Ladakh Police. Among them, international Taekwondo player Shanaz Parveen thanked Ladakh Police for organising the orientation programme and said that such initiatives help youths prepare in advance and boost their confidence for the recruitment process.
