Harlow Kincaid - Didn’t Even Slow Down | Country Breakup Song (Official Video)

Didn't Even Slow Down by Harlow Kincaid. A country song about the street you slowed down on every night for months, and the first night you drove right past it. You know the route by heart. Past the feed store sign, past the church painted blue, left at the light, second street on the right. For months she let the truck roll slower there, counted the windows and looked for the one still lit. This song is the night she doesn't. No speech, no last word, no scene in the driveway. Just a green light, a song she hadn't heard yet, radio up and both windows down. It's a song about the moment a habit lets go of you. The coffee cup with his name in faded marker gets left on the counter at Dottie's. She pays for one coffee, not two, and it feels fine. And somewhere around mile marker 118 she notices she isn't asking herself why anymore. Didn't Even Slow Down is the first single from the album Radio Up, Windows Down: twelve songs, one road, from the last drive past his house to a new start.
