The Ethiopian Book of Enoch Reveals a Hidden Order of Angels?

What if an ancient biblical text described heavenly beings in a way most readers have never fully considered? The Ethiopian Book of Enoch preserves a fascinating world of ancient visions, mysterious heavenly beings, angelic orders, and forgotten religious traditions. In this documentary, we investigate the mysterious Kodeshan, a term explored in the Ge’ez tradition of 1 Enoch, and examine whether its meaning reveals a distinction between the holy ones, the archangels, and other heavenly beings. From 1 Enoch Chapter 39 to the heavenly throne described in Chapter 71, we explore the passages that raise important questions about intercession, heavenly hierarchy, and the original language of this ancient text. We also examine the Aramaic fragments discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Greek textual tradition, and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church's preservation of the complete Book of Enoch in Ge’ez. In this investigation, we explore: • The mysterious Kodeshan mentioned in the Book of Enoch • The seven archangels and their individual responsibilities • The significance of 1 Enoch Chapters 39, 61, and 71 • The relationship between the Kodeshan and the Watchers • What the Aramaic fragments and Ge’ez manuscripts can tell us • Why Ethiopia preserved a biblical text absent from most Christian biblical canons • Whether translation differences change how we understand ancient heavenly beings Are the Kodeshan a distinct category of heavenly beings, or does the original text support a different interpretation? The answer requires careful examination of the surviving manuscripts, their language, and their historical context. Watch until the end and decide which passage provides the strongest evidence. 💬 COMMENT BELOW: Which passage do you find most intriguing — Chapter 39, Chapter 61, or Chapter 71? 🔔 Subscribe to The Sacred Mystery for more investigations into ancient manuscripts, biblical mysteries, forgotten religious traditions, and the secrets of history.
