Why are Members of Parliament still required to undergo COVID-19 tests before meeting President Museveni? In this parliamentary session, Leader of the Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi questions Minister of Health Dr. Chris Baryomunsi over the continued COVID-19 testing requirement for MPs scheduled to meet the President. Ssenyonyi argues that the testing requirement appears unnecessary given the current level of COVID-19 transmission. In response, Minister Baryomunsi explains that the tests are intended as a precautionary measure and agrees to advise State House that the requirement may no longer be necessary.
