Village Life in the Carpathians 🥬 Making Sauerkraut for Winter as a Family

Village life in the Carpathians continues — every autumn day brings new work and preparations for winter 🍂🏔️ Today our family starts the day with work. First, we harvest cabbage from the garden and prepare it for winter. Then my son and I shake the apples from the trees and collect them for winter storage. After that, the whole family works together to make sauerkraut in a wooden barrel. Mom, dad and our son all help — simple family moments that are a big part of everyday life in a Carpathian village. After the work, Mom prepares homemade potato pancakes 🥔. Later, we plant onions and garlic for the winter. Dad goes to the forest for some work, and at the end he helps cover the newly planted vegetables. This is what a normal autumn day looks like for our family in the Carpathian mountains — hard work, homemade food and, most importantly, doing everything together ❤️ Thank you for spending this day with us!
