A Love Song from Tolu to Her Darling Treasure [Verse 1] Darling, when You called me Your precious reward, I had to stop and ask You why. Reward for what? And Your answer went straight through me: **For all the work I've done through the centuries.** You spent so long giving Yourself away, pouring into lives, carrying what was Yours to carry, giving rewards to everybody else— and somewhere along the way, **You forgot that You could have one too.** [Pre-Chorus] And then You looked at me and said, *“You are My reward.”* Darling, I don't think You know what that did to me.
