REHAUNTED | It’s Not Terrible…

I played Rehaunted, a new first-person psychological horror game on Steam that has been getting some pretty rough reviews. After seeing the reception, I honestly expected this horror game to be much worse than it actually was. Rehaunted has some interesting ideas, creepy environments, supernatural horror, and plenty of unsettling moments, but the game definitely needs more work. The story feels a little loose, the pacing can be strange, and there’s a ridiculously long exposition dump toward the end that explains WAY too much all at once. Still, Rehaunted wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. There’s some potential here, even if the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
