Finding a Foster Family For a Motherless Ape | Monkey Life | Season 8 Episode 18

The sanctuary's brand-new marmoset complex is already full, but Dr. Allison Cronin makes room for two urgent rescues: Mojo, a frail, underweight female who was abandoned in an empty house when her owner went to prison, and Albert, a male purchased online out of pity. After Albert undergoes a routine vasectomy, keepers carefully introduce the two solitary monkeys, hoping they can finally experience life as a pair. Over at the Orang Nursery, hand-reared baby Bulu Mata moves into a specialized playroom to build his climbing strength in preparation for the arrival of a new orphaned playmate from Berlin Zoo! Meanwhile, the park's woolly monkeys celebrate a massive baby boom with multiple new arrivals, and dominant chimp Cherry gets a well-deserved break as her demanding toddler, Thelma, playfully bosses around the troop's biggest adult males. Monkey Life follows the work of Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre with nail-biting rescue and rehabilitation stories. Whilst there are primates in need, Dr. Alison Cronin, Jeremy Keeling and their dedicated team continue to fight the illegal trade in primates and give those rescued a safe haven for the rest of their lives.
