LOST AT SEA continues my jungle surf fusion metaphors from my single TEMPLE OF DOOM. 100 BPM. I love the covert art of the list surfer washing ashore only to find the cursed temple of doom amidst a violent hurricane and flowing lava. Original lyrics (c) 2026 by Phoenix Genesis: Lost at Sea [Intro] Whoa-oh-oh, the jungle wakes! Red lava flows, the black earth shakes! Glowing eyes in the tangled green, I’m casting light on the truth like a laser beam! [Verse 1] September eleventh, the storm clouds rolled, I sent up a flare, let the story be told. I wrote to the DA, then the sirens drew near, Now I’m standing in court with a record to clear. There’s an order carved in ancient stone, A promise of safety around my home. But the pythons coil where the boundaries lie, And the temple guards won’t tell me why. [Pre-Chorus] Questions lie buried beneath the ground, Lost in the jungle where truth can’t be found. I’m not asking you to rule before you see, Open up the temple and hear me! [Chorus] If the law is a lighthouse, why am I lost at sea? The hurricane is howling! Won’t somebody hear me? The lava keeps flowing, the jungle hides the doors, I’m standing in the darkness at the temple of the law! Whoa-oh-oh, let the record show! Through the fire and shadows, let the evidence flow! [Verse 2] One witness lies silent beneath the earth, Another’s burned-out home holds questions of worth. I won’t claim a connection I cannot prove, But I need the chance to investigate and pursue. Glowing eyes watch from the vines overhead, While the trail of testimony grows tangled instead. Were voices discouraged? What records remain? What secrets lie buried beneath the jungle terrain? [Chorus] If the law is a lighthouse, why am I lost at sea? The hurricane is howling! Won’t somebody hear me? The lava keeps flowing, the jungle hides the doors, I’m standing in the darkness at the temple of the law! Whoa-oh-oh, let the record show! Through the fire and shadows, let the evidence flow! [Instrumental] [Verse 3] The jungle heat burns through the walls of my home, Broken cooling leaves me sweltering alone. My faithful dogs, in that blistering heat, Were allegedly left without water while I was away. Seven hours or longer—that’s what I report, After September’s arrest brought the storm to my door. Preserve these conditions, let the evidence show, Before shifting sands bury what we need to know. [Bridge] Cannibals dance where the torchfires glow, Feeding on stories they don’t really know. Spiderwebs stretch across the temple stairs, While the serpent winds through unanswered prayers. I’m not asking for a verdict carved in stone, Just a fair chance to present what I’ve known. Preserve the records! Let the facts speak! Bring the truth to the light I seek! [Guitar Solo] [Final Chorus] If the law is a lighthouse, why am I lost at sea? The hurricane is howling! Won’t somebody hear me? The lava keeps flowing, but I’ll stand and face the storm, Let the Court examine what the evidence can show! Whoa-oh-oh, let the record show! Whoa-oh-oh, let the hidden truth flow! I’m not asking you to take my word for all you see— I’m asking for the chance to show what happened to me! [Outro] The jungle grows quiet… The embers burn low… The tide takes the footprints… But the record must show. If the law is a lighthouse… Why am I lost at sea?
