Scaling Past Eight Figures: Brandon Dawson on Axis Roofing and Retail Growth

In this episode of the Home Service Studs podcast, Andrew Hathaway speaks with Brandon Dawson, owner of Axis Roofing, a commercial and residential roofing company serving Colorado and DFW. Brandon shares how his background as a general contractor building high-rises, parking garages and casinos shapes the company, which is a couple of years in and projected to top eight figures this year, with a goal of a nine-figure exit in the next 60 months. The conversation covers the industry shift toward retail roofing and what private equity is looking for, a call center that closed 48 of 124 leads in 30 days, farming and dominating neighborhoods, rebuilding AI systems and the back-end team after burnout, using AI for scopes, speed to lead and marketing, door knocking seven days a week, and leading with faith while living life to the fullest.
