Why Did God Bury Moses Himself?

An old man climbs a mountain alone. God shows him the whole land he has walked toward for forty years, says "you shall not go over there," and then Moses dies. And the Bible says something it says about no one else: God Himself buries him, in a valley, in a place no one has ever found. Why did God bury Moses with His own hands? Why hide the grave? Why was Moses kept out of the land at all?
