Sturtevant, Spruce Grove, and Hoegees Trail Camp

After being closed for 4 years after the Bobcat fire, the Sturtevant trail and Winter Creek trails from Chantry Flat have finally opened up to the public. First I went to the Sturtevant Falls, then to Spruce Grove Trail Camp, then to Sturtevant Camp, and finally to Hoegees Trail Camp. I was pleased to see that they were all in good condition after the fire. The totals for this hike were about 15 miles and 3,200 feet of climbing. The date of this hike was October 30th, 2024.
