Climbing Dent du Géant (4013m) | One of the Alps Most Iconic Summits

Climbing Dent du Géant (4.013m) in the Mont Blanc Massif, a spectacular alpine ascent above Courmayeur and Chamonix, filmed during an exceptionally warm and dry summer in the Alps. We climbed Dent du Géant on 24 July 2026, approaching from Rifugio Torino before making our way up the rocky ridge to the base of the Dent. From there, the route follows increasingly exposed rock and the famous fixed ropes toward the summit. This film follows our ascent from the early morning start in the dark to the technical climbing, exposed sections, fixed ropes and finally the summit of Dent du Géant at 4.013 metres.
