I started my day in Penang with one simple plan — to explore the famous streets of George Town! 🇲🇾 But the day didn’t start exactly as I expected… After leaving my hostel, I stepped outside into the intense Malaysian heat. ☀️ I was also trying to find the restaurant where I had dinner the previous night… But no matter how much I looked, I just couldn’t find it! So I decided to try something else and finally found a place to eat. And then… 🚶 My real exploration of George Town began! As I walked through the streets of Penang, I started discovering a completely different side of the city. I came across beautiful old buildings, historic hotels, restaurants, and places that have been standing there for generations. 🏛️ Some of these places were more than 100 years old! The deeper I explored, the more I felt like I was walking through the history of George Town. And then I came across something even more interesting… 🚒 A historic fire station with a history going back around 100 years! From searching for food under the scorching sun to randomly discovering the hidden history of Penang, this day turned into an unexpected adventure.
