I rode south through one of the most historically important parts of Vietnam — the former dividing line between North and South. 🇻🇳 Leaving Phong Nha, I travel towards Hue and stop at the 17th Parallel and Ben Hai River, the historic line that once separated North and South Vietnam. From there, I visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels, where entire families lived underground during the Vietnam War to survive the bombing above. I then continue to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital, before finishing somewhere completely different — the abandoned Thuy Tien Water Park, famous for its huge dragon structure slowly being reclaimed by nature. This stretch of central Vietnam combines some incredible riding with war history, imperial architecture and one of the strangest abandoned places I’ve visited. This video is part of my Hanoi to Saigon scooter journey, riding more than 3,000km across Vietnam.
