I Finally Made It Back to My Favourite City - Da Nang!!!

Vietnam scooter trip from Hue to Da Nang via the legendary Hai Van Pass, before returning to Hoi An and some of my favourite places in central Vietnam. In this episode of my Hanoi to Saigon motorbike journey, I leave Hue and ride south towards Da Nang — but this part of the trip feels a little different. Before starting this journey, I spent nine weeks living in Da Nang and visited Hoi An countless times, so riding back into this part of Vietnam felt like returning home. The journey takes me over the incredible Hai Van Pass, one of the most famous motorbike routes in Vietnam, with winding mountain roads and spectacular views across the coastline. I then arrive back in Da Nang, a city that became one of my favourite places in Vietnam. Rather than simply ticking off the usual tourist attractions, I revisit some of the places I discovered while living here and share what made me enjoy the city so much. From Da Nang, I continue south to Hoi An — somewhere I returned to again and again during my nine weeks in central Vietnam. I explore some of my favourite spots, revisit familiar places and reminisce about my time living in this part of the country. After weeks of constantly travelling south from Hanoi, this episode is a chance to slow things down and return somewhere that already holds a lot of memories for me.
