NEW Amtrak Cascades Trains

The brand new passenger trains for Amtrak Cascades have finally entered service as of September 30, 2026! In this video, we will take an in depth look at the new trains, inside and out. Our adventure begins with a close up look at the first "AIRO" train set during its public debut event on Sunday September 27th, complete with a full look at the interior of the train. Then, we'll see the train during its final tests in the Pacific Northwest as well as some of the last runs of the old trains. We'll finish off by seeing the first full day of service of the new train sets on Amtrak Cascades train numbers 503, 508, 516, and 519.
