Unexpected WCR Visitors ( 57 314 & 47 812 ) Prepare for an ECS move of LMS 45212 at Bury ELR!

A final movement for a brilliant loco on a fantastic route: It was recently confirmed by Riley's that LMS No. 45212's 10 year overhaul was being withdrawn and not completed, after discussion, it was decided that the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (KWVR) would receive the locomotive back, and up to their discretion of what happens to it's future, as plans currently are, this locomotive will never return to the mainline. Yesterday, Thursday 3rd September 2026, this original ECS was delayed/cancelled due to reasons on the WCR's side. However, today, Friday 4th September 2026, WCR No. 47 812 & 57 314 "Conwy Castle" Took this locomotive from the ELR to the KWVR. Here, we can see the 2 diesels do some shunting maneuvers to prepare for the big move, so lets split them up! Firstly, 57 314 leads the pair into Bury Bolton Street with a token exchange around the curve, with the 47 trailing on the rear. Next, 47 812 uncoupled from its double headed partner and ran light loco to couple up with the ill-fated steamer. Finally, 47 812 & 45212 Run backwards in 2 shots to couple back up with 57 314, finally ready for its movement to the KWVR, which many videos of which can be find on my channel & elsewhere!
