Season 2 Trailer | There is a Cost

Season 2 of the Distinct Business Podcast starts here. There is a cost to letting the presence of God into your business. Hosts Aaron Christopherson and Sean Turner open season two with the question most business teaching skips: what does it actually cost to make your company a place of holy ground, and are you willing to pay it? The word "distinct" comes from Exodus 33. Moses tells God that if His presence will not go with them, he does not want to go, because what else would set them apart from every other people? We believe the same is true of your business. Strategy matters. Culture matters. Great people matter. But the only thing that will truly make your business distinct from every other business is the presence of God. This season we are going into scripture to study the business owners, leaders and marketplace people already there — Abraham, Joseph, Daniel, Boaz — and drawing out the principles they lived by. How do you manage a staff. How do you empower people. How do you face an obstacle. How do you grow and multiply. The answers are in there. This episode lays out four ways to maintain a place of holy ground in your business: You are a spiritual leader — lead yourself before you lead anyone else You are radically generous — generosity is a spiritual decision, not a financial one You are a good steward — of your home and family first, then your business You surrender everything — your business is not your identity ABOUT DISTINCT Distinct teaches business owners and leaders how to grow spiritually, how to lead spiritually, and how to build a place where the presence of God is welcome and wants to stay. The podcast is one part of a wider program of sessions, speakers and testimonies from leaders who have walked it. Find it all at distinctbus.com. Distinct is a ministry of Mercy Culture Church.
