WHAT'S KEEPING GOD FROM USING YOU? IT MAY NOT BE YOUR PAST | Pastor Josh Howerton

Have you ever believed that your past mistakes have disqualified you from being used by God? Maybe you know God has a purpose for your life, but something inside you keeps saying you're too broken, too imperfect, or you've made too many mistakes. But what if your past isn't the thing keeping you from God's purpose? In this powerful biblical message, Josh Howerton walks through 2 Timothy 2:20–22 and explores what it really means to become a vessel prepared and useful for God's purposes. Paul's words to Timothy reveal an important truth: God isn't simply looking for impressive people. He desires people who are willing to be cleansed, surrendered, set apart, and ready for His use. 🔥 In this message, you'll discover: ✝️ What it means to consecrate your life to God 📖 The meaning behind Paul's illustration of vessels in a great house 🙏 Why your past doesn't have to define your future 🔥 How condemnation can convince you that you're unusable 🛡️ Why Scripture tells believers to flee youthful passions ❤️ How surrender prepares your life for God's purposes 🕊️ Why following Jesus requires movement, not spiritual stagnation Maybe you've been telling yourself: “God could never use someone like me.” But Scripture tells a different story. God has repeatedly worked through imperfect people who surrendered themselves to Him. Your failures don't have to become your identity. Your past doesn't have to control your future. Your weakness doesn't have to become your excuse. Give God what you're holding back. Pursue what honors Him. Let Him prepare you for His purposes. You may be surprised by what God can do through a life fully surrendered to Him.
