2026 John Muir Trail | Trail Life | Day 4

Day 4 of our hike on the John Muir Trail North Bound (NoBo). Selden Pass. Not as well known as Muir or Kearsarge Passes, but beautiful nonetheless. Kevin introduced us to the Jeffrey Pine. Wow! Do not hike through a grove of these trees if you have a craving for candy as they smell exactly like butterscotch. Vermillion Valley Resort (VVR) is up next. What a treat!
