I have bipolar disorder.

"I hate being bipolar. It's awesome." Today is world bipolar day. I wanted to come out and say that I am LXGEND and I am bipolar. Why be vocal about it? Because it helps me get used to the fact that it's a reality of my life. I have had a hard time accepting that I'm not fully in control of the emotions I feel and speaking out about it helps me to accept that. I also know that had I not heard the stories of other musicians, producers, and singers like myself living with bipolar disorder, I don't think I'd have ever even gone to get my mental health checked on. So my hope is also that in me speaking up, someone else may be helped out of their own dire situation. Therapy has quite literally changed my life. Taking care of my mental health in the best ways I know I can has done wonders for me. I know I am not perfect (nor will I ever be) but I can say that with this new diagnosis, I feel at least little more confident taking on my life head on. I'll be speaking more about this I'm sure in future videos.
