Bibbulmun Track - day 57

Day 57 - Gardner to Northcliffe September 29, 2025 I'm afraid that in all the excitement of finishing our flipped through hike, I forgot to do my journal for the last day... but really the video tells the story. A quick and short day into Northcliffe, mild conditions, a lovely hike - especially as you approach the Northcliffe outskirts. Both of us with the usual happy-sads rollercoaster of emotion that is normal at the end of a long distance hike. What's next? Is there really anything more to life than just walk, eat, sleep repeat? Northcliffe itself? Not the world's most amazing town tbh, but almost certainly the most expensive take-away soy latte I've ever bought if the town needs a claim to fame, which it definitely does. But, Kalamunda to Northcliffe, then the flip: Albany back to Northcliffe. We really did it. Thanks for your awesome organisational skills Mim, and your love of planning. Thanks also to you, my small but tight group of subscribers and watchers for following along on our journey. In 2027 we're planning two through hikes: Walk the Yorke and the big South Australian hike, the Heysen Trail going north-bound.
