SHELTER IN HIS MERCY | Catholic Evening Prayer | October 22, 2026 End your Thursday, October 22, 2026, in the loving presence of God with this Catholic Evening Prayer from Sacred Echoes of Grace. Inspired by Psalm 30, Psalm 32, Revelation 11, 1 Peter 5:1–4, and the Magnificat, this prayer invites us to receive God's mercy, surrender our burdens, and find rest in the faithfulness of Christ, our Chief Shepherd. Psalm 30 reminds us that the Lord hears our cries and can turn our mourning into joy. Psalm 32 reveals the freedom and peace that come when we honestly acknowledge our sins and receive God's forgiveness. Through Revelation 11, we remember the victory of Christ and the hope of His eternal kingdom. In 1 Peter 5:1–4, we are called to serve others with humility, generosity, and a willing heart, following the example of Christ, the Good Shepherd. As this day comes to a close, let us bring our regrets, unfinished responsibilities, and unresolved concerns before the Lord. May His mercy free us from guilt and resentment, restore our peace, and prepare our hearts for a new day of faithful service. We also commemorate Saint Pope John Paul II, whose life and ministry called the world to encounter Christ and recognize the dignity of every human person. Through the Most Holy Rosary, may the Blessed Virgin Mary help us contemplate Jesus and trust in the Father's unfailing love.
