A guy who really loves urban rail systems, and if you follow my channel closely, you surely know that I mostly posted videos about urban rail stations in Singapore because I had stayed there for 2 years, and then in my hometown - Hanoi. And now it's time for the city where I'm working: the capital of Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, which has a modern and convenient metro train system, playing a significant role in serving the travel needs of the people living here. This is my video recording about Kampung Selamat MRT station which was made in 2025. Hope you enjoy it! Trong thời gian làm việc và cư trú tại đây, mình sẽ tranh thủ ghi hình về các ga tàu điện ở KL và vùng đô thị xung quanh thành phố này, hy vọng sẽ nhận được sự đón nhận nhiệt tình của các bạn. Video này ghi hình về ga Kampung Selamat là ga tàu điện trên cao thuộc Hệ thống đường sắt đô thị Thung lũng Klang của vùng đô thị Kuala Lumpur. Ga Kampung Selamat là ga tàu điện trên cao phục vụ khu vực Kampung Selamat và Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh tại Sungai Buloh, Selangor (ngoại ô phía tây KL). Ga này ban đầu thuộc tuyến Kajang (line xanh lá) và được khai trương vào ngày 16 tháng 12 năm 2016 trong giai đoạn vận hành Giai đoạn Một của tuyến. Hiện tại, ga này là một trong ba ga được chuyển giao cho tuyến Putrajaya (line vàng) vào ngày 16 tháng 6 năm 2022. Tên ga được lấy từ Kampung Selamat, nghĩa là Làng An toàn gần đó, nằm ở phía đông đường Sungai Buloh. According to Wikipedia, the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System is an integrated transport network that primarily serves the area of Klang Valley and Greater Kuala Lumpur. The system commenced operations in August 1995 with the introduction of commuter rail service on the existing rail between Kuala Lumpur and Rawang. The system have since expanded and currently consists of 11 fully operating rail lines in a radial formation; two commuter rail lines, six rapid transit lines, one bus rapid transit line and two airport rail links to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and one temporarily suspended airport rail link to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. The system encompasses 528.4 kilometres (328.3 mi) of grade-separated railway with 197 operational stations. Kampung Selamat MRT station is a mass rapid transit station serving the areas of Kampung Selamat and Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The station was one of the stations on the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line. The station name is taken from the nearby Kampung Selamat (English: Safe Village), which lies on the east side of Jalan Sungai Buloh. Although it was previously a station as part of the MRT Kajang Line, the station is one of three which were transferred to the MRT Putrajaya Line and began operations on 16 June 2022.
