Per California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) requirements, continuous enrollment in a Drug and Alcohol testing program is mandatory to maintain an active TCP license authority. As your designated testing consultant, we manage your compliance and report enrollment status directly to the CPUC. Failure to renew may result in a report of non-compliance, which can lead to the suspension or revocation of your TCP license. What do you need to do? Please follow the instructions in the email or text message you received. This will prompt you to either make a payment, sign required documentation or confirm your auto-pay details if your renewal is processed automatically. Does renewal require a new drug test? No. Renewal simply maintains your active enrollment status. Drug testing is conducted separately on a random basis. If you or your drivers are selected for a random test, you will be notified via a separate email to coordinate a convenient collection site. Why do renewal structures vary? Some companies may not pay annual fees because they prepaid for multi-year enrollments. Additionally, uncertified providers may fail to follow CPUC protocols, risking their clients' license validity. TEST ON TIME ensures full regulatory compliance. You may contact the CPUC directly to verify these annual requirements. Why do you need to renew the program with TEST ON TIME? Our company, Test on Time, has submitted your drug test results and enrolled your company into the Drug & Alcohol testing program associated with your TCP license. We have also submitted your proof of enrollment and all other relevant documentation required for your TCP license application. As a result, we are currently designated as your company's consultant. This assignment was initiated either by you, your company representative, or the third-party agency that assisted you with your initial TCP license application. Please note that we will remain your assigned consultant until you either choose to switch to another provider or surrender your TCP license. It is entirely your choice to enroll with another provider. However, please keep in mind that if you switch, you will need to repeat the initial enrollment process. This includes signing a new agreement, taking a drug test, and ensuring the new provider enrolls you in the correct program. You will also need to verify that they are approved by the Public Utilities Commission, comply with all regulations, and can submit your test results and other required documentation on your behalf. Currently, your only requirement with us is to submit your payment, unless your recent email or text notification specifically stated that you also need to take a drug test. What to do if you decide to close your business? If you decide to close your business, please notify TEST ON TIME by submitting a formal request by email at info@testontime.com. This allows us to properly close your account and remove your company from the applicable CPUC Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, when appropriate. You should also submit the necessary closure requests to all relevant government agencies, including the CPUC. Please be aware that applying for a voluntary suspension does not necessarily eliminate your Drug and Alcohol Testing Program obligations. While your authority is voluntarily suspended, you may remain subject to applicable testing requirements, including random testing and program renewal, unless the applicable regulatory requirements provide otherwise. For this reason, please contact TEST ON TIME before taking action to suspend or close your business so that we can help you understand the appropriate steps for your testing program.
