Looking for a simple, effective full-body workout you can do at home without any equipment?
Join Coach Steve for this 30-minute bodyweight workout designed to help adults over 50 build strength, improve balance, increase mobility, and keep their bodies moving well.
This workout includes 9 exercises performed for two rounds, along with a warm-up and cool-down. You'll work your legs, core, upper body, back, hips, shoulders, and stabilizing muscles while also challenging balance and coordination.
Exercises include static bear holds, leg extensions, Russian twists, push-ups, cross-body punches, triceps dips, single-leg deadlifts, rows, and squat-to-reaches.
Most exercises include modifications, so you can adjust the workout to your current fitness level. Use it as a full-body strength workout, or slow things down and use it as a movement and mobility session on a lighter day.
No gym required. No complicated equipment. Just about 30 minutes to move your body, challenge yourself appropriately, and invest in staying strong and capable as you get older.
This workout may help you:
• Build and maintain strength after 50
• Improve balance and stability
• Maintain mobility and range of motion
• Strengthen your core and back
• Improve functional fitness for everyday life
• Stay active without needing a gym
Always work within your abilities and modify exercises when needed. If you have an injury, medical condition, or concerns about beginning an exercise program, talk with an appropriate healthcare professional.
