A Place That Truly Feels Like Paradise | Jahaz Banda, Upper Dir | EP 21

After exploring the breathtaking beauty of Katora Lake in the previous episode, our journey continues with another unforgettable adventure in the mountains of Upper Dir, Pakistan. Returning from Katora Lake around 1 PM, I reached Jahaz Banda in just one hour. This time, I headed towards Beend Banda, a beautiful section of Jahaz Banda known for its peaceful atmosphere, lush green meadows, colourful wildflowers and magnificent mountain views. While exploring this hidden paradise, I contacted my friend and travel companion, Muhammad Nabeel Bhai, who was staying at the same hotel where we had spent the previous night. After joining him, we continued exploring the remaining beauty of Jahaz Banda. Situated at an elevation of approximately 10,170 feet, Jahaz Banda, locally known as Jahaz Bunal by the Kohistani people, is one of the most spectacular destinations in Upper Dir. Surrounded by towering mountains, dense greenery and vast alpine meadows, this beautiful valley offers a peaceful escape into nature. Jahaz Banda is also a gateway to several stunning destinations and mountain trails, including Kund Banda, Beend Banda and Katora Lake. Other routes connect towards Swat, while a trail passing near Danu Pashkir Waterfall leads towards Shar Banda, opening up access to beautiful destinations such as Babu Lake, Bauna Lake, Gabin Lake and Shar Lake. In this episode, join me as I explore the scenic landscapes of Beend Banda, reconnect with my friend, and discover more of the incredible beauty surrounding Jahaz Banda. From colourful meadows and breathtaking mountain scenery to the peaceful atmosphere of the evening, every moment offers another reason to fall in love with the mountains.
