We Spent 4 Hours on This RV Upgrade...Was It Worth It?

We thought this RV upgrade would make boondocking easier...but it didn't exactly go as planned. Our week starts with a leak underneath our fifth wheel during an unexpected summer cold front. Thankfully, it turns out to be a small repair, giving us the confidence to tackle something we've been putting off for a while, dropping the RV underbelly to inspect everything underneath. With the underbelly open, we install Mopeka tank sensors on our fresh water and grey tanks so we can finally monitor our water levels more accurately while boondocking. Four hours later, we're feeling pretty proud that we completed the upgrade ourselves. At first, everything works perfectly...until it doesn't. We quickly discover that the way we mounted the sensors creates a weak connection, leaving us wondering if this RV upgrade is really worth the time, effort, and money. After more testing, we're still chasing a reliable signal.
