The Beverly Hillbillies (1962) Cast Then and Now 2026: Who’s Still Alive After 64 Years?

The Beverly Hillbillies (1962) Cast Then and Now 2026: Who’s Still Alive After 64 Years? The Beverly Hillbillies cast then and now: sixty-four years after the Clampetts rolled into Beverly Hills on CBS on September 26, 1962, who is still alive, and what became of the people who made that household famous? This video follows the cast to today, covering who built a second career, who stepped out of the spotlight, and who is no longer with us. Inside this video, we look back at Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas and Max Baer Jr., then at the Drysdale side of the hedge with Raymond Bailey, Nancy Kulp, Bea Benaderet, Harriet MacGibbon, Linda Kaye Henning and Louis Nye. We also meet the visitors, Frank Wilcox, Elvia Allman, Shug Fisher and Larry Pennell, and revisit the 1981 reunion movie and the 1993 big-screen version. A behind-the-scenes section shares production stories, including how Irene Ryan won the part of Granny, why Buddy Ebsen left The Wizard of Oz in 1939, and who gave Jethrine her voice. A short In Memoriam segment remembers Sharon Tate and the cast members who have passed away. Details come from published interviews, obituaries and public records, and anything that could not be fully confirmed is described as reported or noted as unknown. Cast Then and Now is a series that revisits the casts of classic television shows and movies and shows where their careers and lives led. New videos arrive regularly, so there is always another classic to revisit. If you enjoyed this look back, please subscribe, turn on notifications, share the video with a fellow fan, and tell us in the comments which Clampett or Drysdale you remember best and which classic cast we should cover next. #TheBeverlyHillbillies #CastThenAndNow #ClassicTV #Nostalgia #WhereAreTheyNow #BuddyEbsen
