Research Part III Sharing Learning

In terms of project-based learning, we encourage educators to use a three-part approach to the research or inquiry phase of their projects: Questioning, discovering, and sharing learning. In this video, we discuss one of the often overlooked portions of student research, which is the actual sharing of their learning. In many cases, students gather information in a vacuum without ever presenting or collaborating on what they've learned. As a PBL instructor, it's essential for students to synthesize and share their ongoing learning to you or to their peers; this helps create a community of learning, while also formatively assessing students' understanding of key project content.
