And on my final day in Russia, everything finally came together. I woke up exhausted, knowing this was my last chance. Then came my first jump of the day — and for the first time, the things that once felt impossible simply clicked. A clean exit. Stable freefall. Controlled manoeuvres. A smooth landing. I finally felt like a skydiver. Then came Category F. Another aircraft. Another 14,000-foot exit. Tracking, turns, manoeuvres and one of the most beautiful jumps of the entire trip. I passed. And suddenly, the USPA A-License was within reach. Just one or two more days. I could postpone my flight. I could spend more money. I could finish the qualification I had travelled thousands of kilometres and spent months preparing for. But there was one problem. I wasn't alone anymore. Zuli and I had come to Russia together, and we were supposed to leave together. So I had to make a choice. Do I stay back and chase the certificate?
