Every Province in Canada Ranked by What’s Actually Under the Ground

One province in Canada made nearly five times more from its mines, oil and gas than the runner-up in 2024. Another made barely two million dollars. This is all 13 provinces and territories, ranked from last to first by their mining and oil and gas industries. Along the way: diamond mines under an Arctic lake, a gold mine still holding 237,000 tonnes of arsenic dust, a nickel fortune found by men looking for diamonds, and German U-boats sinking iron ore ships off Newfoundland. #Canada #CanadaUncovered #Provinces #Mining #Alberta #CanadianHistory #Geography #OilAndGas #Documentary 0:00 Introduction 0:21 Prince Edward Island 2:09 Nova Scotia 4:11 Yukon 6:05 New Brunswick 8:07 Northwest Territories 9:46 Manitoba 11:46 Nunavut 13:21 Quebec 15:19 Newfoundland and Labrador 17:15 Ontario 20:08 British Columbia 21:53 Saskatchewan 23:59 Alberta
