Just before this odyssey started, an unauthorized person went onto the tracks at Woodhaven Blvd and there were schedule changes in place for that reason. Thankfully, after my cousin told me that the family would have dinner at her place, it worked in my favor. This bad break did give me an opportunity to schedule my round-trip on the (R) Train for when I would visit my psychologist on a future Wednesday. After the dust settled, we were treated to not only a beauty with this journey, but a gorgeous sunset just as we went outside. The timing for this family gathering couldn’t have gone any better because the following day, my cousin would go to Japan for a month and she wanted to see me before she went away. Japan is a country that I dream to visit one day in the future. Time will tell if I have the opportunity to do so. It felt so satisfying to take this journey and then empty right into my cousin and have a great family gathering and a great family dinner.
