Having previously been discouraged “by most everyone”, a young Robin Williams felt restless after college, full of wild ideas but unsure where to share them. A friend who loved comedy pushed him to try out local improv nights, saying, "Just go—say whatever pops into your head." At that first session, Robin's quick voice and crazy characters made people laugh until they couldn't breathe. The group welcomed him, gave him tips, and challenged him to keep pushing boundaries. Now, encouraged, Robin kept showing up, learning timing, teamwork, and how to build a scene with others. Those improv nights helped him grow from a funny kid into a fearless performer on stage and screen. Years later, he said that joining those groups changed everything for his career. And so it is for those who will join in the work of Christ; so today YOU ARE INVITED Philippians 2:12-13 Again, we are really glad you have joined us; we appreciate you taking the time.
