Five buildings of nineteen storeys on the HaOren complex in Kiryat Ono, 305 apartments, with gardens, playgrounds and supporting commerce. The published description places an underground metro station within walking distance — in the same sentence as the mall and the country club, both of which you can walk to this afternoon. Across the schemes on this channel, transport claims sit on a spectrum. One sells a light rail station that is open and carrying passengers. Two sell light rail stations that are planned. This one sells a metro — the furthest-out infrastructure promise in Israel. Knowing where a scheme sits on that spectrum is worth more than any other single fact about it.
