The Winter Spine 2026 - Following Sophie Grant

I was tasked to capture images of Sophie Grant for the Full Winter Spine, a dream to be asked and complete and when I discovered it was for Sophie, whom I met at the Tor De Geants Last summer, I was buzzing. Following her journey up the Pennine Way was unforgettable as she and the rest of the incredible athletes had to over come, all the winter weather thrown at them with extreme;y limited sleep. 268 miles was completed in 117 hours and 32 minutes, with just 6hours 55 minutes of total sleep.
