Peaky Runners First Ever ULTRA

Shawn, is a member of the local trail Community, The Peaky Runners and he offered his personal annual 50km ultra open to the Peaky Running community to come and join him. Unsurprisingly, 24 runners joined him in support of 'his run' which is always done, this time of year, same route around Bakewell in the Peak District, in memory of his late mother. FOUR of our members conquered their first ultra which was special moment and we thank Shawn's partner, Liz, who kindly drove to three checkpoints so runners could rehydrate and sample amazing snacks and bakes.
