Susan Kaleta of the Page Parkes agency (based in Dallas) met with Tyson when he was just 15. She immediately spotted his great looks, and signed him to her agency. During the final years at school, Tyson found his spare time filled with a variety of modeling assignments, working with brands like JC Penney and Foley's.
Graduating from high school in 1995, Tyson enrolled at Richard College. But a scout from the renowned Ford agency persuaded Tyson to drop the college course, to concentrate on high profile work in New York. At first Tyson stayed in Texas, only traveling as needed, but a year later he changed agency to IMG, with an agreement that he move full time to New York.
In America's capital of fashion Tyson has become hot property. He's modeled for all the top names, including Dolce and Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Versace, to name a few from a very long list.
Away from work, Tyson remains the quiet type. He still loves basketball, and plays regularly as it helps him keep in shape. Ooh.. his idea of the perfect woman? If you're not really tall, you may not be his type. To quote Tyson's wish list, 'funny, smart, stands at 5'11'' with gorgeous dark eyes and hair, a beautiful smile and she needs to be super affectionate '.
