Climbing in Frankenjura at Dreistaffelfels - Klettern im Frankenjura Dreistaffelfels

"Dreistaffelfels" is a very impressive rock close to the beautiful village of Betzenstein. Some routes at Dreistaffelfels are very old, polished and barely bolted. #Climbing such an historical UIAA 4+ means, that you should know how to use nuts and/or friends. If you are not sure that you can climb it, try to toprope it, first. Mistakes can have serious consequenced at "Dreistaffelfels", due to lack of bolts in some routes. I enjoyed the old, classical routes in toprope. Most are still very good to climb, even when some moves are really hard for the grading there.
