What Color Does Orange and Green Make? | Beautiful Color Variations

What happens when you mix orange and green? In this acrylic color mixing session, I explore the beautiful range of colors I can get from Phthalo Green and orange, then experiment with white and Process Yellow as an addition. From warm, natural oranges to green, yellow-green, ochre and soft beige variations, the colors keep changing — and most of the results are surprisingly beautiful. I’m using Amsterdam Azo Orange, Phthalo Green and Process Yellow acrylic paint, along with white, and mixing the colors in different proportions to see what happens. This is a relaxed, experimental look at orange and green color mixing and the many color variations you can create from them. At the end, I take some of the mixed colors to my Gelli Plate and use them to create a beautiful background print in the colors mixed.
