WIDOW'S BAY | S1 Eps 5-6-7 | First Time Watching Reaction and Review | TV Show

Widow's Bay Season 1, Episode 5, "What to Expect on Your Trip" Things are getting considerably darker in Widow's Bay—and Tom is about to have one VERY strange trip. Following Reverend Bryce's death, Tom tries to uncover what happened while tensions on the island continue to rise. His investigation takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally drinks a mushroom tincture intended for Wyck and begins hallucinating. Meanwhile, Evan and his friends investigate a house connected to one of Widow's Bay's darkest legends: the Boogeyman. Directed by Andrew DeYoung and written by Colton Dunn, Episode 5 stars Matthew Rhys, Kate O'Flynn, Stephen Root, Kevin Carroll, Dale Dickey, and Kingston Rumi Southwick. Guest stars include Chris Fleming as the Shaman, Neil Casey as Kurt, Hamish Linklater as Richard Warren, K Callan as Ruth, Jeff Hiller as Dale, Nancy Lenehan as Gerrie, and Olli Haaskivi as Ray. This episode really starts digging deeper into the mythology of the island. Between Tom's increasingly bizarre investigation, the Boogeyman story, and more questions surrounding Widow's Bay's past, it feels like we're moving beyond individual supernatural incidents and toward something much bigger. "Our History" takes us into the 18th century to finally reveal more about the origins of Widow's Bay and its founder, Richard Warren. Directed by horror filmmaker Ti West and written by Alberto Roldán, this episode features Betty Gilpin as Sarah Westcott Warren and Hamish Linklater as Richard Warren, alongside David Dean Bottrell as Pastor Collins, Veanne Cox as Abigail Stevens, Tom Nowicki as Ezra Lowery, and members of the Warren family. Widow's Bay Season 1, Episode 7, "Seasickness" We're heading out to sea with Tom and Wyck—and somehow I don't think this is going to be a relaxing boat trip. "Seasickness" puts Mayor Tom Loftis and Wyck together on the water as they attend to some rather important business connected to everything we've been learning about Widow's Bay. With the history of Richard Warren and the island's curse becoming increasingly important, the relationship between the town's stubborn sceptic and its most dedicated believer takes centre stage. Directed by Sam Donovan and written by Dave Harris, Episode 7 stars Matthew Rhys as Tom and Stephen Root as Wyck, alongside Kate O'Flynn, Kevin Carroll and Kingston Rumi Southwick. Neil Casey returns as Kurt, with Hamish Linklater appearing again as Richard Warren and Anthony Atamanuik guest starring as the Inn Guest
