Picture Your Ordinary Tuesday (Not Just the Highlight Reel) When you dream about your next chapter, do you picture the vacations and the big milestones, or do you picture an actual, ordinary Tuesday and how you’ll really live it? Today was our 13-year wedding anniversary, and instead of the big dramatic version of “the dream,” I got to experience something smaller and more powerful: a slow morning, a kids’ doctor appointment, a lunch decision with no rush, a quiet night in with my homebody husband. And it made me realize, this is the life I actually want.
