Cosy autumn days in Korea, baking homemade rye sourdough bread, cooking tender Korean pork ribs, and making time for family and the hobbies I love. This vlog begins with a little self-care day for two. Jungu and I visit SINSANG in Gangnam for skincare treatments—his very first time—before finishing our morning together with a sushi lunch. Back at home, I try a new sourdough recipe with wholegrain rye flour left over from making Schlutzkrapfen. I’m a little nervous about changing my usual recipe, but the first bite brings back memories of the bread I grew up eating in South Tyrol, northern Italy. Between making mushroom and ham spaghetti, changing the bedding for colder nights, and checking on our rooftop garden, there are little pockets of time for crochet and piano practice. We finish with slow-baked Korean pork ribs, sweet potato mash, and peas and carrots—a family dinner suggested by Jungu and eagerly awaited by Ardho, haha.
