Title: The Narrow Way I walked the road so wide and bright, Golden dust in fading light. Voices laughing in the air, No heavy chains for me to bear. It felt like freedom, it felt like peace, No cross to carry, no need to kneel. Yet deep within a warning burned; Every step, no safe return. For wide is the gate, and broad the way That leads the soul to death’s decay. Easy now, but dark its end, A shining lie that will not mend. Two roads stand before my eyes: One of comfort, one sacrifice. One is smooth, but ends in flame; One is marked by Jesus’ Name. Narrow is the way to life, Steep the climb and sharp the knife. Few will walk, yet few will see Eternal glory, victory. Then I saw the rugged hill, Where time stood silent, earth stood still. Upon that cross the Lamb was slain, Bearing all my sin and shame. At the cross where Jesus died, My sin was crushed, my soul revived. Two roads stand before my eyes: One of comfort, one sacrifice. The wide road shines but ends in loss; The narrow way runs through the cross. Narrow is the way to life, Through the fire and through the strife. Marked by blood, redeemed by grace, Walking toward His holy place. Lay it down. Lay it down. At the cross, lay it down. Sin and shame fall to the ground. Broken chains — true freedom found. Through the valley, through the night, Through the trials, through the fight, Shadows whisper, fear may stay, Still I walk the narrow way. Giants fall and chains release, Faith will lead my soul to peace. Step by step, through dark and flame, Held secure in Jesus' Name. Narrow way, Lead us home, To the everlasting throne. Two roads stand before my eyes; I choose the cross, I choose the climb. Though the valley shakes my soul, Heaven waits beyond the toll. The wide road fades, its lights grow dim, But glory lives in following Him. Narrow is the way to life, And it leads to Heaven's gates. Golden light beyond the night, Faith will guide us through the fight. Through the narrow path I've trod, Home at last — with Christ my God. Narrow is the way… But it leads to life.
