What Season Are We In? "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." God Family Country Ministry began in 2024 with a simple desire to follow where God was leading. Since then, we've built God's House at Thunder Canyon, worshiped and studied Scripture together, helped communities after Hurricane Helene, supported local families, put Bibles and fresh beef into people's hands through Beef & Bibles, created the God Family Country app, hosted a Christian retreat, and built a community of believers across the country. Now we're asking a difficult but important question: What season are we in now? God Family Country is facing a real financial challenge. Our current ministry expenses are just under $3,000 per month, and John and Mercedes have personally helped carry those expenses over the past several months. But this isn't simply a fundraising message. It's a message about discernment. God Family Country exists to glorify God, strengthen families, and faithfully steward the freedoms He has given us. But the methods can change. The chapel is a method. Bible studies are a method. The app is a method. Beef & Bibles is a method. Retreats are a method. Sunday worship is a method. None of those things individually are the mission. Maybe God is calling us to keep building. Maybe He's calling us to prune. Maybe some things need to become smaller so other things can grow. Maybe there's something completely new that we haven't thought of yet.
