Andre Hill, Columbus, Ohio, December 2020. Officer Adam Coy was convicted of murder and sentenced to 15 years to life; the city paid the family $10 million. December 22, 2020, just before 2 in the morning on Oberlin Drive in Columbus, Ohio: officer Adam Coy answers a non emergency call about an SUV that keeps turning on and off. Andre Hill, 47, is visiting a friend. Minutes later he walks out of a dark garage holding a phone and a set of keys, and Coy fires four times, saying he saw a silver revolver. Coy's body camera was off; its look back minute has no sound, and about ten minutes pass before anyone gives first aid. This episode follows the call, the minutes after, the officer's file, his partner's account and his own testimony at trial, and this video does not show the shooting.
